Southern Utah Real Estate Info- Bloomington 

Bloomington is a community that is located in the southern part of St. George city and is on the west side of Interstate 15. Bloomington was originally established as a development around the Bloomington Golf Course. The Virgin River follows a winding course through the community and is crossed by Man O' War Bridge.

Bloomington, Christensen, and Petroglyph parks are also in Bloomington. Bloomington Park has 24 acres which includes three ball parks, volleyball court, basketball court, picnic area, and a playground.
For tennis enthusiasts there is the annual” Bloomington Duel in the Desert Tennis tournament” in April, sanctioned by the USTA. Easy access to tennis lessons and tennis courts is a great feature of Bloomington.

Bloomington Country Club- Situated alongside a bend in the Virgin River, the Bloomington golf course was designed in 1969 for maximum playability spread out over two hundred acres of lush bermuda grass over seeded with winter rye. The course features four signature Par 3's members find challenging. The course's expansive layout is 18 holes you can comfortably walk or ride.
At Bloomington Country Club members enjoy unlimited golf year round and access to swimming, tennis, the dining facilities and full bar, as well as many social events ranging from wine-tastings and art shows to special golf tournaments.

As one of the only private member's clubs in southern Utah, Bloomington Country Club provides its members an invigorating lifestyle and a place to play no matter where you are in life. With the recreation and social aspects of the club, it's hard to resist the feeling this is where you belong.

Skimboarding
Bet you didn't think you could skimboard in Utah!  Bloomington is one of the best spots to skimboard in St. George. The Virgin River right below the Bloomington bridge is a prime spot.  To get there from I-15, take exit 4, turn left at the chevron on frontage road, turn right onto Manowar Rd, follow until you cross the bridge. There is parking directly on the left and right of Manowar Rd. Hike a few hundred feet down the river for great skimming.
