St. George City Down Payment Assistance available in July

CITY OF ST. GEORGE DOWN PAYMENT ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

WHAT IS IT?

The City of St. George Down Payment Assistance Program is a federally funded program with ta goal to assist eligible home buyers with a down payment and/or loan closing cists by providing up to $10,000 in the form of a non-interest bearing loan payable when the home is sold or refinanced.  The program is open to owner-occupied housing units within the St. George City limits. The maximum home price allowed is $247,368 for detached homes, and $131,955 for attached townhome/condos.

HOW DO I QUALIFY?

You must be a first time home buyer or have not owned a home in the past three years.
You must meet household income limits and have a gross annual household income which does not exceed 80% of median income adjusted for household size. Income verification will be matched with your prior year tax returns and current check stubs for final determination of eligibility.
